Acacia Lodge #94 held a
Cajun
Fish Fry!

Acacia Lodge held its 150th Anniversary Celebration
on Saturday, February 13, 2010 with a rededication
ceremony of the Lodge performed by the Grand Lodge
of South Carolina Officers.

Acacia
Lodge is proud to recognize Bro. Jeffrey Hall as the
3rd Quarter recipient of the MASTERS AWARD!
Through his devotion of both time and effort in
supporting Acacia Lodge, Bro. Jeffrey Hall has been
instrumental in the success of our lodge this year.
As
Senior Deacon, he has taken on numerous
responsibilities including volunteering hours to helping and
organizing lodge events. He has also taken on the
role as a degree coach and has just completed
successfully coaching his brother through all 3
degrees.
The
MASTERS AWARD is presented each quarter the a
Brother whose efforts go "above and beyond."
Masters Award - 2nd Quarter Recipient!
This
year, the Worshipful Master established an
award that would be presented quarterly to a Brother
Mason whose work and support of the Lodge and its
undertakings went above and beyond the expected.
W. Brother
James A. Neal was presented with the Masters Award for
the Second Quarter 2009 by Worshipful Master Rick
Sirmons for his hard work in preparing and
conducting Masonic Education and his dedication and
support of the upcoming 150th Anniversary events.
In
additional to supporting Acacia Lodge in a wide
variety of activities, W. Brother
Jim Neal serves Acacia Lodge as the historian and
Chairman for both the Education and Rededication
committees.
Each
Quarter, the Worshipful Master will present this
award to a Brother who goes "above and beyond."
Masters Award - 1st Quarter Recipient!
This
year, the Worshipful Master wanted to establish an
award that would be presented quarterly to a Brother
Mason whose work and support of the Lodge and its
undertakings went above and beyond the expected.
Brother
Jeff Young was presented with the Masters Award for
the First Quarter 2009 by Worshipful Master Rick
Sirmons for his hard work on maintaining the Lodge
Website and support of a wide variety of Lodge
functions.
Brother
Jeff Young serves not only as the Webmaster, but is
also the Chairman of the Fundraising and Degree Team
Committees, is a member of other committees within
the Lodge, and is running the Lodge merchandise
sales activities.
Each
Quarter, the Worshipful Master will present this
award to a Brother who goes "above and beyond."

Lodge Helps Out With ETV Drive!
On March
11th fourteen members of Acacia Lodge participated
in the Spring Educational TV (ETV) membership drive
by answering the phones and taking member pledges.

Everyone
who participated was kept busy on the phones.
We all had the opportunity to talk with the ETV
staff and see what goes on "behind the scenes" when
producing a TV show.
In
addition to having fun, we also managed to raise
$4,073 in member contributions for ETV!
We are
all looking forward to going back for future events
like this to help our community prosper and grow.
